But it can be a little heavy and unpredictable for me.<\/p>\n<p>So, I make my own adaptable version of this soup.<\/p>\n<p>It's hearty and yummy and perfect for these fall\/winter months.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Mishlerstrone Soup<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>2 cloves garlic, minced ( I bump this up when I am feeling my immunity could use a boost)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 onion or 1\/2 a large onion, minced<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/2 cup carrots, diced\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 cup celery, diced<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 cup cooked beans ( I use kidney but you can use any kind of bean)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 1\/2 cups diced tomatoes (Sometimes I add a little canned crushed tomato here too)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 1\/2 cups peeled &amp; diced potatoes\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2-3 tablespoons of chopped parsley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4-5 cups veggie stock<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/2 cup of diced zucchini<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3\/4 pasta (I like to use gluten free spirals as my honey gets hives from gluten, we think)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 cups of chopped greens ( I usually use spinach or kale)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First saute garlic, onions, carrots, celery in oil ( I use olive oil)<\/p>\n<p>After it sautes for a bit (and starts smelling yummy) add the beans to the mix and allow to simmer.<\/p>\n<p>Once flavors have mixed well add tomatoes, cooked potatoes and parsley.<\/p>\n<p>Allow all the veggies to simmer on low heat together like best buddies.<\/p>\n<p>Now add the stock and bring to a simmer again.<\/p>\n<p>Add the zucchini, greens and pasta.<\/p>\n<p>Season with S &amp; P as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish wish some fresh parmesan if you like!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/yogawadriene.wpengine.com\/mishlerstrone-soup\/mishlerstrone\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2547\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2547\" src=\"http:\/\/yogawadriene.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/mishlerstrone-1023x1024.jpg\" alt=\"mishlerstrone\" width=\"1023\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minestrone is such a comforting soup.
